Dear Families,
Welcome to a new school year at Eaton Elementary! I hope you had a wonderful summer and am as excited to be back as I am. My name is Miss Yu and I will be your child’s teacher for the upcoming year. This will be a fun-filled and challenging time for both your child and myself!
I am eager to meet all of you at Back to School Night. Please save the date: Wednesday, September 6th. I will hold a mandatory meeting in Room 8 from 6:15pm–7:00pm and then there will be a PTO meeting in the MP Room from 7:00pm-7:15pm. This will be a very important opportunity for you to learn about our classroom and the procedures for the year.
All first graders are asked to bring the items below. Please make sure to buy the EXACT brand (such as Dixon-Ticonderoga, Magic Rub, Crayola, Sharpie, etc.). Please purchase these items by Friday, September 1st. Thank you for your donations.
− 1 box of Dixon-Ticonderoga #2 pencils
− 2 Magic Rub erasers
− 1 box of Crayola Classic color markers
− 4 large glue sticks
- 1 box of 24 Crayola crayons
− 1 pack of colored Sharpie pens
− 1 3” by 3” pad of Post-its Notes
− 1 box of Kleenex OR 1 roll of paper towels
− 1 box of any size ziplock bags
− 1 bottle of Instant Hand Sanitizer
Please remember to send your child to school on time each morning at 9:00am and pick up your child at 3:05pm (except Tuesday dismissal is at 2:30pm). Also, please label all lunch boxes, jackets, hats, sweaters, etc. with your child’s name so that lost items can be returned to you. I am looking forward to working with you and your children!
